Obituary

William O. Watson, 72, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away Saturday, June 1,2002. He was born October 16, 1929 in Decatur, IL. He was raised in Monticello, IL where he grew up and graduated from High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He retired in 1989 from F.S. Servicesin Decatur, IL following 30 years of employment. After retiring, he and his wife moved to Bradenton, FL and then to Fort Myers in 1998. Most recently he was in business with his son at the V.I.P. Club in Fort Myers, FL. Mr. Watson is survived by his wife of 47 years, Norma; two daughters, Sandra Rich and Linda Reitzel, both of Cocoa, FL; son, Thomas Watson of Fort Myers,FL; two sisters, Louise Watson of Fort Myers, FL and Ruby Thomas of Moweaqua, IL; four grandchildren, Heather Klukis, Cindy Watson, Melissa Watson and Matthew Reitzel; aunt, Clara Shull; two great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday at Harvey-Engelhardt-Metz Funeral Home, 1600 Colonial Blvd. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Thursday.
