EDWARD V. GEORGE Edward V. George, 64 years, 4 months and 24 days old passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2025, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Cremation services provided by Craddock Funeral Home. No services are scheduled at this time, but private services will be held at a later date. Edward was born May 1, 1961, in Houston, Texas to Fred D. George and the late Carolyn L. (Salthouse) George. He loved everything Texas; the Oilers, Astros, Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers etc....He loved music, played the guitar and sang his own songs: aspiring to have a career in music, but it was not to be, so he did his own writing and singing to please himself. His friend, Greg Pace, played drums on many of their recordings and at different venues in Oklahoma and Texas. He loved nature and all animals and most people. He never met a stranger and was loved by his neighbors, even when he played his music too loud. He lived life on his own terms and is now at peace. He leaves behind his father, siblings, Bryan, Terri (Emmett) and Tony (Tiana) George; aunts, Barbara Salthouse of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Rosalie Tharp and Janice Schroeder (Winston) of Texas; nephews, Vinny George (Jayci) of Oklahoma City, and Patrick Loughridge of Texas; nieces, Rachael Kirkpatrick, Kaitlin George (Jonathen), Healdton, and Katrina George of Mannsville, Oklahoma; great nieces, Kirra Gooden of Durant, Oklahoma, August Upton Loughridge of Ardmore, and Mavis George of Oklahoma City; great nephews, Davion Green and Jackson Loughridge of Ardmore and many cousins in Texas and Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his mother, niece, Naomi George and many aunts, uncles, cousins and all grandparents. Family requests that memorial contributions be made to any animal rescue organization of their choice, he would like that, Thank You, the George Family.
