John Bradley Obituary

John Garvin Bradley John Garvin Bradley was born on January 27, 1963, in Dallas, Texas to Jesse Bradley and Annie Bell George. He finished his course on January 3, 2023 at his residence in Shawnee, OK. John was born to live for Jesus Christ. John enjoyed his family, his church and all his church families. He enjoyed preaching about what Jesus did in his life at Pottawatomie County Jail. He served there for 24 years. He was God ordained to serve in the New Life Overcomers for 6 years. He loved spreading God's word. John loved his children and grandchildren with all of his heart. If John had a hobby, it would be Jesus. He liked fishing but loved being a fisher of men more! John's greatest accomplishments are his 3 boys and 5 grandchildren. John would say his greatest blessing would be finding his wife Tammie of 26 years. Johns is survived by his wife, Tammie Bradley; three sons, John Allen Bradley and wife, Christa, Earl Norman Hunt III and wife,Gail and Luke Edward Bradley; father and stepmom, Charles and Sue Green; two sisters, Jody Atkinson and husband, Mike; and Wendy Hall; three brothers, Walter Ivie and wife, Brenda, Hershel Green and wife, Candace and Charles Green and wife, Jelessa; grandchildren, Victoria Hunt, Earl Hunt IV, Shane Hunt, Wyatt Hunt and Eleanor Hunt; many nieces and nephews and cousins and a host of family and friends. John was preceded in death by his mom, Annie Bell George; nephew, Shane Green; mother-in-law, Carolyn Green; grandma and grandpa, Sam and Betsy Brown; uncle, Thomas George; uncle, Basil George and aunt, Florence Danielson. Those serving as casket bearers will be Mike Atkinson, Daniel Atkinson, Joey Hollis, Walter Ivie, Hershel Green and Terry Smith. Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday, January 6, 2023 from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma. Family visitation will be Friday, January 6, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Johnson Church of God in Shawnee, Oklahoma with Pastors Nita and Jimmy Moreland officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
