SHARON CHOAT 07/05/1942 - 11/10/2025 Sharon Ann McClaskey Choat, (Nan) lover of mountains, defender of whistle pigs and kitchen wizard cast off her mortal coil peacefully and painlessly surrounded by her family on November 10, 2025. Sharon was a feisty, generous, and kind lady who had been a basketball player, homecoming queen, valedictorian and married her high school sweetheart Kenneth Choat 65 years ago. She and Ken had adventures that spanned the globe and they set up house in London for a time. She spent many years in Bartlesville, Okla., and Pagosa Springs, Colo., and considered them both her home. Sharon had a passion for mean dogs, fast cars, football and her family. She loved to road trip, decorate her home and grow flowers in her garden where she taught her grandchildren the love for all forms of life (except snakes). She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings and one nephew. She is survived by her husband, her children and their spouses, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and a nephew, as well as valued lifelong friends.
