Hubert Lennex Obituary
Hubert Vestal Lennex, 83, of the New Macedonia Community in Philadelphia, Tenn., passed away on January 9, 2025.
Hubert was a retired employee of Mayfield Dairy and a proud U.S. Army veteran. He was a graduate of Loudon High School, where he played as a running back for the football team.
Hubert was preceded in death by his wife Sara Ann Lennex; parents Robert and Lorene (Simpson) Lennex; brothers John and Troy Lennex; nephew Robyn Lennex; niece Beth Tribble; and great-grandson Levi Dwayne Lennex.
Survivors include his sons Wayne (Gail) Lennex of Philadelphia and Bobby (Cindy) Lennex of Loudon; seven grandchildren: Michelle, Beth, Kristen, Megan, Sara, Kara and Kayla; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; brother Bill (Ernestine) Lennex of Loudon; sister Mary Kate (Robert) Robinson of Maryville; and sister-in-law Nell Ruth Lennex of Loudon.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Loudon Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Daniel Fortman. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at noon in Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
Services are in the care of Loudon Funeral Home and Cremations.
