James Kilmartin Obituary
Jim is survived by a daughter, Michelle Lewis and husband, Michael of Columbia, Md.; sister, Tanith Knight and husband, George of Faber, Va.; brother, Thomas J. Kilmartin and wife, Kathleen of Milwaukee, Wisc.; and sister, Tesi K. Lamb of Staunton, Va.
A funeral service with full military honors will be held at the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, on a date not yet determined.

To Jim´s family so sorry to hear about his passing. I knew him when he lived in the apartments in Staunton off of west bev. We was neighbors. And then he met my sister Anna and been friends ever since. He was a great friend. Jim you will be missed

To my dear neighbor,
I wish you didn't leave us so soon. What you have done for me and my family these past 14 years I will be forever grateful. I am so happy to have called you my neighbor, friend and family. I love you and you will forever be missed but you also always told me " a good soldier never dies, they just fade away."

Jim was my neighbor and a very great friend. I remember the day he moved into the neighborhood, I took him flowers from garden and introduced myself to him and his sister Tesi .I told him welcome to the neighborhood, I don't bake, but I can grow just about any kind of flower. He laughed. From then on I was miss Linda, and because of that name. All the children I know in the neighborhood call me miss Linda. I miss him more than I can say...but rest well my friend, I hope to see you again..
