Bella Grace Elder, 16, of Forest, loving daughter, sister and friend passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Born on June 24, 2005 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of James Royal Elder and Heather Clements Elder.

Bella was a junior at Liberty Christian Academy and a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. She was a former competitive gymnast who loved all sports including, snowboarding, pole vaulting, basketball, and board games especially Monopoly. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory a brother, James Royal "Deuce" Elder II of Forest; her maternal grandparents, Andrew and Judith Clements of Lynchburg; her paternal grandparents, Bill and Debbie Elder of Forest; her canine companions, Paris and Ace; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 until 8 p.m., on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory, 427 Graves Mill Road in Lynchburg.

A Celebration of Bella's Life will be conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Thomas Road Baptist Church Pate Chapel by Pastor Jason Schonfelder and Pastor Stephen Willis with a reception to follow in Bruner Hall. Burial will be private.
