My heart goes out to you at this time. I have such fond memories of Ben from my childhood. Ben lived next door to me on Fort Avenue in Lynchburg. I was probably about 10 years old and really loved the outdoors. Ben must have sensed this and he took me trout fishing for the first time in my life. I remember it like it was yesterday! We had a great time. Ben also took me hunting with him. He had a bird dog that I would occasionally take care of when he went out of town. Ben would always bring me back some kind of gift like a pocket knife. These are some of the fondest memories that I have of my childhood and will be forever grateful to Ben for these. My biggest regret at this time is that I did not try to contact Ben and reminice of these times with him.
