Bethany Doolin Obituary
February 23, 1971 - December 12, 2024
Bethany Coleman Doolin, 53, of Walnut Creek, Calif., passed away on December 12, 2024 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Bethany was visiting with her parents, Thomas E. Coleman and Joyce M. Coleman, in Madison Heights when she passed unexpectedly.
Bethany attended Amherst County High School and graduated from Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg, Va. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Liberty University in Lynchburg. Bethany earned her Master of Science degree in Education Technology from California State University. She was certified by the University of California, Berkley, in College Admission Advising.
Bethany is survived by her parents, Thomas E. and Joyce M. Coleman; her sister, Karen Coleman King (Michael) of Monroe, Va.; brother, Thomas M. W. Coleman (Patti) of Henrico County, Va.; brother, James W. Coleman (Janet) of Mechanicsville, Va.; nephews, Matthew Harris (Kerri) and Aaron Coleman; niece, Katy Coleman Hedrick (Taylor); great-nephews, Christian Harris and Beckham Coleman. And best friends, Gail and Bruce Wentler of El Cerrito, Calif.
Bethany will be interred in the columbarium at Briarwood Cemetery in a private service in mid-January. The family is being assisted by Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory in Madison Heights.
