Clare Wallace

After 68 years of a faithful and loving marriage, Clare Davis Wallace, 92, stepped into heaven on Thursday morning, October 16, 2025. Just five days later, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, her beloved husband, Watson "Irving" Wallace, 92, fondly known as "The Appliance Doctor," followed her to their eternal home.

Virginia Clare Davis was born on July 2, 1933, in Lynchburg, Virginia, the youngest child of the late James T. Davis, Sr., and Sue Adams Davis. Clare is now reunited in heaven with her parents; two brothers, Henry and James T. Jr.; and three sisters, Lucy Gunn, Nancy Clark, and Sue Breeding.

Watson Irving Wallace was born on June 21, 1933, in Port Jefferson, Long Island, New York, to the late Watson Samuel Wallace and Mary Bartholomew Wallace. Irving is now reunited in heaven with his parents and two brothers, Ernest and Vernon.

Together, Irving and Clare will rejoice with their granddaughter, Ellie Marie Wallace, and great-grandson, Samuell Terrance Grace, as well as many cherished family members and friends.

They are survived by their four sons: Samuel, Stephen, David, and John; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
