Edith WITT Obituary
Edith Fay Witt, 68, of Grace Lodge in Lynchburg, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at Virginia Baptist Hospital. A daughter of the late Ollie Harris Witt and Elizabeth Rice Wilkes Witt, she was born February 16, 1940. Fay was also preceded in death by a brother, Ollie C. Witt. She was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church.
Fay is survived by two brothers, Thomas P. Witt and wife, Bea, of Goode, and Raymond D. Witt of Jacksonville, Fla.; two nieces, Mary W. Boone and husband, Paul, of Bedford, and Dawn W. Beaster and husband, Ryan, of Raleigh, N.C.; and a great niece, Riley Beaster of Raleigh, N.C.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, at Virginia Memorial Park, Forest with the Rev. Dr. Tom Thomas and the Rev. Steve Parker officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of her brother, Thomas P. Witt. Those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the Oakland United Methodist Church Building Fund, 4565 Goode Station Road, Goode, VA 24556 or to the American Cancer Society, 2316 Atherholt Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501

I sure enjoyed my visits to Liz's house during the summer just to hang out with Faye. We spent alot of time doiing things together and we loved to shop. Faye was a special person and will never be forotten. She will always have a place in my heart. My prayers go out to the family.

faye was as good hearted as any one could be I always loved sitting with faye and looking at all her pictures and litters from relatives and love ones.faye loved her family just as much as we loved her .may God bless and comfort her love ones
