Elizabeth Torbick

Elizabeth "Beth" Evans Torbick Elizabeth "Beth" Evans Torbick, resident of Valley View Retiremant Community, died Saturday, January 5, 2013. Beth and her husband, William "Bill" Torbick, had been married for 64 years. Beth was born in Waukesha, WI on September 9 1921 and was a 1939 graduate of Wankesha High School. She is preceded in death by her parents, David Louis Evans and Sara Omdoll Evans; her brother, David James Evans and her sister, Nettie Ann Evans Warren. In addition to her husband Bill, Beth is survived by their two sons, William D. "Bill" Torbick and his wife Anyi, of Forest and Nicholas J. "Nick" Torbick of Bedford, three daughters, Susan Elizabeth Chambers and her husband, Gene Cripe of Turlock, CA, Marita Jane Torbick of Cape Cod, MA and Ellen Torbick Stephens and her husband, Gerald, of Birmingham, AL; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Jean Evans of Buffalo City, WI and three nieces and nephews. Beth was a Life Master and Director of games and tournaments for the American Contract Bridge League and she had many close bridge friends. A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
