Elsie Landon Obituary
Elsie Keen Landon, 78, of Madison Heights, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on October 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in McDowell County, West Virginia, Elsie proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal and remained a lifelong supporter of its values. She was known for her warm heart, strong faith, and devotion to family. A talented baker, cook, and seamstress, Elsie shared her gifts generously. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, David Landon; five children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and four siblings. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Tree of Life Ministries in Lynchburg at 11 am. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to the service in remembrance of a woman whose love and kindness touched so many.
