Frances Baker Sensabaugh

Frances Baker Sensabaugh, 90, of Lynchburg passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. She was the wife of Claude Nelson Sensabaugh for over 65 years.

Born in Screven, Georgia on January 25, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Baker and Jeannie Leota Phipps Baker. She was a member of Indian Hill Baptist Church. She retired from General Electric/ Ericsson after 36 years of service.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Teresa Caldwell and husband, Allen of Rustburg and William Lamar of Lynchburg and three grandchildren, Ryan Caldwell of Rustburg, Alexander Lamar, and Dylan Lamar both of Lynchburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Baker; and two sisters, Genaria Langevin and Lurea Baker.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., August 22, 2025, in the Chapel of Fort Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Kenny Lawhorne officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:30 p.m. at the Chapel.
