Frank Forest Obituary
Mr. Frank Edward Forest, of Red House, died Thursday, July 30, 2009, in Richmond. He was the son of the late Mr. Major Forest and Mrs. Sallie Beth Barksdale Forest.
He is survived by one daughter, Cora Lee Dixon, and one grandson, Bryant Wright, both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; four sisters, Mrs. Betty Lewis of Baltimore, Md., Ms. Estelle Forest of Nathalie, Mrs. Dorothy Cousin and Ms. Mary Forest of North Carolina; two brothers, Mr. Russell Forest of Baltimore, Md., and Mr. Willard Forest of Radford; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Ollie Forest; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, at noon at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Red House. Interment with military rites will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
