It´s hard to believe that Fred and Virginia have now both passed. I recall when I was a very young 4 year old boy staying with my grandparents ( Fred´s parents) that Fred and Virginia came driving up in his convertible and a cloud of dust. I remember how Fred got out of his car with a big beautiful smile on his face and with his beautiful Virginia at his side. I was lucky to get an early glimpse of what a loving couple´s marriage would endure for almost 60 years. I will always treasure their acceptance on me to join them as a part of the Turnes family at my father´s funeral, Fred´s brother. Thanks for letting me share a couple of memories about Fred and Virginia, I hope it might trigger a few of your own.
