George Victor "Vic" Evans, a beloved former resident of Lynchburg, Virginia, unexpectedly passed away from natural causes in Stonecrest, Georgia on May 11, 2024, at the age of 64.

To the family, please accept my sincerest expressions of sympathy due to Vic´s passing. Not only was he one of my favorite friends growing up, we were both Capricorns, born in and graduated high school the same years. Vic was always kind and caring. My mom used to say, `he´s such a nice young man´. We lost contact after college but I always wondered about him. As a current Georgia resident, I wish I had known he was living here so we could have reconnected. I´ll treasure the memories I have of my friend. May he rest in peace. With Deepest Sympathy.

Veronica, Julius, niece and nephew, Victor was a gentle soul! He allowed me to borrow his alto sax during my marching band days at Amherst High School (Amherst VA) which was a treat. He always had a kind smile!
