On Wednesday, July 14, 2021, beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle, Mr. Harry Mitchell Robey peacefully transitioned to eternal rest at his home in Brookneal. He was born on April 3, 1944, to the late Murphy Robey and Catherine Bradley Robey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest son, Orlando Mitchell Robey.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce McCoy Robey; son, Tyrone Robey (Margaret Robey); brother, Vincent Robey of Philadelphia; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Robey Mosley (Durrell) of Forest, Va., Eric Spencer (Brittany) of Charlotte County, Tynisha Robey Ervin (Willie) of Tallahassee, Fla., Tyrell Robey of Lynchburg, Va., Qwaun Robey of Lynchburg, Va., Tyanna Robey and Marcus Robey of Lynchburg, Va., and Ty'mirea Robey of Brookneal, Va.; ten great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel in Brookneal, with interment at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery in Naruna. Public viewing will be held Friday, July 23, 2021, from 12 until 7 p.m. Condolences may be expressed at www.jeffressfuneralhome.com.

It has been years since I saw Mr. Robey, he always came to Brookneal Milling Co, to get his pig feed, and we would chat, a nice gentleman. My prayers are for the family to feel comfort in that he lived a good life and was liked be so many. Take Care
