Helen Rosetta Irving Loving

Helen Rosetta Irving Loving affectionately known as "MeMa" by her beloved kids and grandchildren and "Rosetta" by all those she met was the second eldest child of twelve of the late Louis and Helen Taylor Irving, born in Nelson County, Virginia, on August 2, 1946, and departed on July 19, 2021. The Lord received her into heaven where she joined her sister, Daisy Mae, her four brothers, Ray, Mac Daniel and David "Poochie" and Linwood Irving.

She is survived by two dedicated sons, Warren Jr, aka "Pooh-Pooh" of Lynchburg, Va., and Montel of Tarzana, Calif. She also inherited a special son, Rodney Orlando Irving of Lynchburg. She also leaves to cherish her memory, granddaughters, Ashley, Taylor, and Ceana; great-granddaughter, Makayla of Lynchburg, Va.; siblings, Wayne Irving her #1, Delores "Polly" Nelson, Annie Trapp, Teresa and Shonda Irving, all of Lynchburg, Va.; sisters-in-law, Rosa and Joyce Irving of Madison Heights, Va., Josephine Loving of Charlottesville, Va.,Geraldine Loving of Bronx, N.Y., Mary Davis of Hagerstown, and Corrine Loving of New York; brothers-in-law, Leonard Irving Sr. of Shipman, and Bobby "Tanny" Loving of Esmont, Va., and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Nelson County. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. The family is receiving friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Community Funeral.
