Jeff North Obituary
North Jr.
Jeff "Buddy" North Jr., 69, of Bedford, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at his residence. Buddy was preceded in death by his father, Jeff F. North Sr. He was surrounded by his devoted family and friends.
He leaves his wife of 49 years, Patsy North; his three daughters, Sheree Key, Sabrena North and Stephania North; and his grandchildren, Shyanne Long and Trevor Long, to cherish his memory. He is also survived by his mother, Dale North; four brothers, Frank (Butch) North and wife, Evelyn, Allan North and wife, Patricia, Gary North and wife, Linda, and Mickey North; his loyal dog, Lady; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at Bedford Christian Church, with the Rev. John Moore and the Rev. Charles Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 10, 2010, at Bedford Christian Church.
Memorials may be made to Centra Hospice, Lynchburg, VA 24501, or National Foundation for Abused and Neglected Children, P.O. Box 1841, Chicago, IL 60690-1841.
