John Toler Obituary
John Thurman David Toler, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
John was born in Lynchburg, Virginia, on November 17, 1943, the son of Ms. Fannie Toler. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Donald Boyd Toler.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a wife of 54 years, Ethel Saunders Toler; daughters, Jonette Toler Johnson (Jeffrey) and Theresa Toler Riddick (William); grandchildren, Jamal Johnson, Terrell "Tre" Riddick and Jayvon Johnson; great- grandchildren, Amir Cartier' Riddick, Adryana Mariah Johnson; and brother, Clarence "Sonny" Toler (Dorothy); uncle, James Toler; niece, Darlene Ames; a host of nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Community Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery. Please continue to follow the rules and regulations for Covid 19. Masks are required.
