Joyce was a kind and gentle soul. We had the pleasure of knowing her and taking care of her in her later life. We sat through countless prayers and talking about anything. She would always tell us to get a handful of candy before we left the room every time! We loved her with our whole hearts and she Will be deeply missed. We send our condolences and prayers to her family. -Katelyn & Jessica (CNAs)

Joyce was a wonderful lady and always had a smile and cheerful word for everyone. The last time we saw her was Christmas and she was just as spunky as ever and still smiling. RIP dear lady. These butterflies are so fitting! I enjoyed doing Joyce’s hair every Friday til she went to liberty ridge, and looked forward to seeing her at the nursing home to continue to do her hair til Covid closed the facility to outsiders! I say these butterflies are fitting because I would always call her my Friday butterfly! She was so inspiring with her smile, energy and cheerful greeting! When asked how she was she would say “I’m hanging in there” and just laugh! Causing me to laugh! I hope I’m half as spunky as she was in my later years! Who am I kidding.... I would love to be half that spunky now! My prayers and thoughts are with the family as I know she was the sunshine in yalls life and everyone who knew her! May God give you comfort and peace til we see her again! She will be greatly missed!
