Juanita Morris Obituary
Juanita Faye Morris departed this life on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on January 22, 1954, in Amherst, Va., to the late Maggie Higginbotham and Ernest Scott.
Juanita leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Karen Barnes (James) of Lynchburg, Va.; one son, Derek Morris of Lynchburg, Va.; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous god-children, nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and a close friend, Roy L. Hall, who was always present when called.
A celebration of life for immediate family only will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at the Bolling Hill Church Cemetery with the Rev. Edward Jones, Eulogist. COVID precautions will be in place. Please wear a mask. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.

I am so sorry Karen my deepest sympathies and prayers to you and your family. Ms. Juanita will certainly be missed she kept us laughing back in the day and I saw the transformation when you she gave her life to God she was very sweet always spoke to me when she saw me giving God glory.may God strengthen and comfort you and your during this time of the transition of your mother

Juanita was a great woman every time I saw her she had a joke about me or something to say she kept me smiling when I saw her I knew her through Connie ware in Dearington so sorry to hear about her condolences to her family

My sincere sympathy to you and your family during this difficult time. Juanita was a good person, with a huge heart and wonderful smile. She always made you feel welcome when you visited the Bolling Hill Baptist Church whether she was ushering or just worshipping. Juanita will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

My condolences to you during this time. Ms. Juanita used to keep my baby boy (Josiah) and was very dear to us. She did a lot for us even when she didn't feel like it. She was a talker too, haha. Very sweet, genuine. If there's one regret, I wish I would have spent more time with her. Love, peace, and blessings to you all during this time!!!
