June Blevins

June Arlene Blevins June Arlene Blevins, 75, of Palmyra, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville. Born June 7, 1936, in Nelson County, she was a daughter of the late Theodore R. Butler and Virginia Bibb Butler. In addition to her parents her husband, Rev. Monte L. Blevins, preceded her in death in 2009.

June was a member of Bethel Church of the Brethren of Arrington and worked as a shipping supervisor for 27 years at Lovingston Manufacturing. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia G. Blevins; of Stanardsville, two sons; Larry A. Blevins, and wife, Angela, of Palmyra and Mike D. Blevins, and wife, Tammy, of Waynesboro, two sisters; Della Nance, of Staunton and Joan Evans, of Forrest, one brother; Wesley Butler, of Amherst, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Bethel Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Arrington, with Rev. Randy Harlow officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
