Kerfort Jennings Obituary
Kerfort Donell "Don" Jennings of Lynchburg sweetly passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. He was born on November 3, 1955, in Crewe, Va., son of the late George Lynn Jennings Sr. and Agnes Morris Jennings. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, George L. Jennings and Dr. Charles L. Jennings.
He leaves to cherish his memories son, Forest Duncan Ragsdill-Jennings, of San Diego, Calif.; daughter, Sheena Jennings, of Guam; eight sisters, Mary E. Jennings, Agnes J. Martin, Catherine McLennon, Joyce Ford, Brenda Grant, Cheryl Spence, Sheena Walker and Zebia Nelson; three brothers, Joseph L. Jennings, Thomas E. Jennings and Henry C. Jennings and a special brother, (nephew), Archie R. Lewis and a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. The family will be receiving friends at 715 Sandusky Dr., Lynchburg. Masks are required. My Dear Uncle,
My heart is heavy but only God knew best. I don´t question why God brought home to rest, you will be greatly missed and I will expect my birthday call from you from heaven from now on. You gave me a judgement free environment, allowing me to express whatever was on my mind and telling you about my goals to go after whatever it is that I want to do. Thank you for listening to me and reading my letters when you were far far away in California. I know you´re comfortable in heaven now no suffering and no pain. I have shed some tears but know deep down in my heart that you are in good hands with the Holy Spirit. You will never be forgotten my dear Uncle Donnell. Now that you´re in a better place, don´t be hardheaded. My dear Uncle, there are some big things that will be happening for me this coming year and you won´t be around to see them. I have been in the theater industry for a while from to Shakespeare to whatever character changes I´m in, I did it for a hobby but I didn´t know my hobby would take me further to film. One message that I have learned from my ability and skills in acting is to be myself, so with this message from your niece to my dear Uncle, "Be Yourself." while you´re are headed to heaven, I´m headed to Hollywood´s a-list with great mentors behind me.

Still in a total state of shock! I am saddened to hear of a cherished cousin, Donell, passing from this life to glory. I rest in the knowledge that God knows best and will allow us to be comforted during our time of grief and passing of our loved ones.
Some loved ones you'd picture forever being around, caring for you, concerned about you, helping you and making you laugh. That's what was in my heart about my cousin. He was just someone I'd always expected to see while visiting our family. His humbleness, simplicity and sweet spirit will be forever missed. My love and condolences to the immediate family as they go through. Donnel will forever be in our hearts.......
