Lana Beverly Obituary
Lana Beverly of Gladys, Virginia, passed away at Autumn Care on December 17, 2025, at the age of 81, with her children by her side. She was born in Lynchburg, VA, on November 8, 1944.
Lana worked as a floor girl at the Altavista Garment Factory and later at Basset Walker. She was a devoted mother, remembered for her kind heart and gentle spirit. She cherished time with her family and found joy in life's simple moments. In her free time, Lana loved to crochet and often attended crochet gatherings with friends. She also enjoyed relaxing with her favorite Hallmark movies, soap operas, and Westerns whenever she could.
Lana is survived by her son, Samuel Dwight Beverly Jr. (Joellen); her daughter, Tammy Beverly McDaniel (Joey); her two grandchildren, Whittney and Jeremy Beverly (girlfriend Tatum); her two great-grandchildren, Paisley and Sadie Beverly; and two sisters, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Lana was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel D. Beverly Sr.; her daughter, Angela Beverly; her mother, Doshie Martin; and her father, Ottie Wright.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved her.

I just found out about Lana,s passing today -so very sorry to hear this we were friends raised in fairview hights for years , saw each other about every day until I moved away, I remember the good times we had playing and going to school. I willall ways hold those memories so close , and pray god will bless all of you all--MARY MITCHELL
