Larry Cash Sr.

1948 - 2023

Larry Chapman Cash, Sr., 75, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023. He was the son of the late Marvin "Bob" Cash and Lorine Eisemon Cash Arthur.

Larry, born on March 8th, 1948, was a dedicated individual who spent his career as a sheet metal technician at Buffalo Forge. His commitment to his work was unwavering. Beyond his profession, he was a man of profound love and care for his family. Larry held a special place in his heart for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, showing unwavering support and affection. Moreover, he was a loving and devoted husband, ensuring that those in his life always felt the depth of his emotions.

Those left to cherish Larry's memory include his loving wife Dorothy Cash; his children Larry C. Cash, Jr., Barry Cash; his siblings Bonnie Powell and her husband Louis (deceased), Darryl (deceased), Jerry L. Cash and his wife Sarah; his grandchildren Bradley, Blake and his wife Ashley, Geoffrey; his great-grandchildren Isabella, Collin; and special friends Wayne and Loretta Denton. The family would also like to give special thanks to Fairmont Crossing for their dedicated care.

A celebration of Larry's life will be held at Whitten Monelison Chapel on Friday September 22, 2023 at 1 p.m., interment will follow at Meade Cemetery. The family will receive friends the night prior from 6 to 8 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
