LaToya Jackson Obituary

LaToya Ann Jackson Ms. LaToya Ann Jackson, age 26 of Brookneal, passed away December 1, 2012 in Lynchburg. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Haywood and Emma Christine Wright Goode. She is survived by her children, Katorah Shante' Jackson and Tevin D'Mar Jackson; mother, Sharon Jackson Lyle (James); father, Edward Jennings (Sherita); brothers, Edward Jackson of Chase City, Marvin (Buddy) Lyle of Brookneal, and Marcavious Rose of Lynchburg; stepsisters, Ameria and Kuashae Jennings of Buckingham; stepbrother, Jeffrey Cobbs of Lynchburg; nephew, Keyden Lyle of Altavista; grandparents, Florence Jackson of Brookneal, and Papa Carton Vassal (Linda) of Lynchburg; aunts, Carolyn Jackson Vassal of Naruna, Regena Jackson Davis of Brookneal, Sharon Younger (Tim) of Gladys, Toleda Styles (Marvin), Phyllis Lyle (John), Susan Pryor, all of Prospect, and Peggy Scott of Red House; uncles, Haywood Jackson (Geraldine), Leon Jackson, both of Naruna, Freddie Jackson (Judy) of Brookneal, Richard Jennings of Appomattox, Calvin Davis, Alfonza Davis, both of Red House; devoted cousin and her children's Godmother, Lavonya Ford Walton of Masawi, Japan; a devoted friend Samuel Clark of Hurt, VA; and a host of other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hat Creek Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com. Arrangements are by Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Brookneal.
