Lenora EDWARDS Obituary
Lenora Orlowsky Edwards, 91, of Lynchburg, died Saturday, July 4, 2009. She was the wife of the late Francis William Edwards.
Mrs. Edwards was born Jan. 17, 1918, in New York, N.Y., a daughter of the late Tony Orlowsky and the late Mary Samko Orlowsky.
Lenora was very family oriented, everything she did evolved around her family and caring for them.
She is survived by a son, Richard Edwards, and his wife, Nan, of Appomattox; a stepson, Ronald Edwards, and his wife, Mary, of Severna Park, Md.; a brother, Edward Orlowsky, and his wife, Eleanor, of Hurleyville, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Tharp Funeral Home. Burial will take place at a later date in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, Fla.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lynchburg Humane Society, 3305 Naval Reserve Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501.
