Mark Hubbard Obituary

Mark Robert Hubbard, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend, was born on January 12, 1957, & passed away peacefully on December 25, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.
A devoted husband, father, and man of faith, Mark's greatest joy was his family. His optimistic spirit, love and kindess for others touched all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Gina Hubbard; his two daughters, Hali Hubbard (granddaughter Evelyn), Mary Hubbard & Charlie Abbate (granddaughter Piper); his son, Clint Hubbard & Sam (grandson Walker); & his dearest friend, Peggy Overstreet. He is also survived by his loving mother, Mary S. Hubbard; & his brothers, Gary Hubbard & Michael Hubbard. Many nieces, nephews, & extended family members will cherish his memory forever.
Mark and his wife, Gina, built Mark Hubbard Studio from the ground up. Capturing cherished moments for three decades for the Southwest Virginia community.
As a softball coach, Mark inspired and guided countless young players, teaching life lessons on and off the field. His legacy of love, leadership, and faith will forever live in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Eastlake Community Church, 3:00 PM Sunday, January 26, 2025. The family will receive friends and loved ones following the service at a reception at the church.
The family invites all who knew and loved him to join in honoring his life and sharing cherished memories.

Gina, we are so very sorry to learn of Mark´s passing and his battle with cancer. We will keep you and your family in our prayers during this most difficult time. We have fond memories of Mark and his photography with our girls. The photos still hang on our walls. We cherish them and Mark´s ability to capture their beauty. Ya´ll´s friendship was a blessing in our lives.
