Marsha Wolford Obituary
Marsha Roberts Wolford, 65, of Bedford, passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at Bedford Memorial Hospital.
She was born Saturday, Dec. 11, 1943, in Peoria, Ill., a daughter of the late Harold E. Roberts and Verna Walsh Roberts Binger of Huddleston, who survives. She was also preceded in death by her beloved stepfather, Robert J. Binger; and her daughter, Tina M. Wolford Cole.
She was a retired employee of the Rubatex Corporation. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Sylvia A. Wolford of Lynchburg; a son, Clifton E. "Punkin" Wolford Jr. of Bedford; three brothers, Jon E. Roberts of Pasadena, Texas, Robert L. Binger of Lynchburg and Frederick A. Binger of Huddleston; two sisters, Marietta M. Salyer of Bedford and Melinda M. Martin of Katy, Texas; three granddaughters, Jamie M. Nicholas, Jessica L. Wolford and Autumn G. Wolford; three grandsons, Christopher M. Wolford, Jacob A. Clayton and Joseph D. Wolford; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009, at the graveside in Greenwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Kenneth Lafon officiating. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Updike Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bedford.

I am so sorry for your loss. Marsha was always a soft hearted person who would do what ever she could to help you out. I will always remember her as such a person. My prayers are with you and your family during your grieving. May God comfort you and strenghten you in the days to come.
