I´m so saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Martin, but glad to know that she is in a great place. I worked with her at Valley View for 3 years and I loved every moment. To Earl Wayne & Donald Ray, I hope you all are hanging in there and doing well. Much love, Kelsi McKenna.

Mary and my mom, Doris Rode, shared an apartment at Valley View for 3 years. When my mom first arrived, Mary showed her the ropes and made sure that my mom got acclimated and comfortable in her new surroundings. My mom appreciated Mary’s warmth and companionship, especially during the lockdown when COVID quarantines were in place. She was a wonderfully strong woman who never complained! I am grateful that my mother got to know her at the end of their lives. Rest in peace, Mary!

Earl & Duck, Although I didn't really know your mom very well, I remember you as a family from Memorial UMC. I think she might have been one of my Sunday School teachers at one time, but I know she loved her church. I can see you sitting as a family together each Sunday and I know she was very proud of each of you.
My thought and prayers will be with you.
Fondly,
Kay

Mrs. Martin was the sweetest person, Heaven gained a saint. Growing up in Memorial UMC with her, she was always friendly and ready with a smile and an encouraging word for the youth--she set a high example for us. Prayers for her loved ones.

Earl and Sandra, I’m so sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. When I think of her, I remember someone who was vivacious. The last time I saw her was in 1995 at Mama’s funeral.
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Martin Family:
Mrs. Mary was my supervisor at Courtland Mfg.
There was not a sweeter supervisor in that plant, there was nothing she couldn't do if it pertained to sewing. She will be missed by all who knew her. May the many memories you have of her help you get through this difficult time. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
