Michael Kingsley Obituary
July 13, 1961 - March 1, 2022
Michael P. "Mike" Kingsley, 60, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. He was born on July 13, 1961, in Richland, Wash., and grew up in Lynchburg.
Mike graduated from Holy Cross Catholic School, Lynchburg College and Ohio Northern Law School.
He worked for the Federal Government for 17 years, most recently as an attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. Mike was an avid fisherman and a craft beer enthusiast. He loved camping, cooking and photography.
Survived by his wife of 25 years, Mary (Gabalski) Kingsley; daughter, Katharine; son, John; siblings, Suzanne Dolenti (Bill), John Kingsley (Stefanie), Barb Miller (Rick), and Margaret Brewer (Mike); father, Richard Kingsley; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rita (Desrosiers) Kingsley.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 7, 2022, at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the National Park Foundation, nationalparks.org.
