Born Wednesday, Oct. 16, 1929, in Warren, Ohio, Norma was the daughter of the late Norman John Beach and the late LaVina Belle Sprague Beach.

Norma met Bob Davis in Tripoli, Libya. They became engaged in the Philippine Islands and later married in Warren Ohio. This began a lifelong adventure of travel and love as she quietly worked to help Bob in his ministry as they traveled the world spreading the teachings of our Lord and Savior. In her lifetime Norma visited 74 different countries. During her travels she started collecting giraffes. Her home today is full of giraffes. Norma also liked to work in the gardens around the home and enjoyed feeding and watching birds. She also was an accomplished artist. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Beulah Baptist Church. Dear Precious Friend Dr. Bob, Joy, and Lori...I received your voicemail message only today (Tuesday). I am so sad that I did not get the message of Norma's passing earlier, I would have made every effort to come to you and be with you this past weekend if possible. I want you all to know that I greatly loved and admired Norma. She always made me smile. I am so grateful for the influence she had on my life...I loved her hugs and I am grateful for the love and friendship she showed to me and my mother. I will always be grateful for Dr. Bob and Norma and to the Lord Jesus for using them to show me the truth of The Gospel and leading me to Christ 40 years ago. May the Lord shower you with His peace and comfort now and always. I am so glad that one day we will all be with the Lord.

Dear Bob, Joy & Lori,
Years ago I was challenged to find an older Christian woman that I could look up to and emulate. Norma was that one for me. During the years we were at the same church, she was a wonderful encouragement to me. I loved how she enjoyed her family. I loved her cheerfulness. Your loss is great. I pray that God will bring you special moments of comfort.

Dear Bob, Joy & Lori,
I thank God for Norma's life and for all she meant to so many of us who grew up at Calvary Baptist Church. She was my Sunday School teacher and I will never forget the gentle encouragement she offered to all of us as we began our faith journey. She was a wonderful woman who lived her faith and was a shining example of a Christian wife and mother to all of the young girls (and women) whose lives she touched.
Please accept my most sincere condolences and know that you are all in my prayers. With sympathy and love, Monica (Tweedy) Kallop

Bob, Lori, Joy,
We know that your loss is Heaven's gain. I know there will be many moments to come you would like to share with Norma. My mother left us 1 yr ago and it left a big hole in our hearts but just holding on to the assurance that we will be together in a better place. Norma was such a sweet genuine person.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr Davis and his family in the loss of his dear wife. Dr Davis was our interim pastor some years ago and has preached in our church on several occasions and he meant a lot to me.
