Ricky and I became friends during his employment at Weyerhaeuser in Lynchburg. He had humble, kind and gentile spirit. I enjoyed the interaction and fellowship we shared. I know those who knew him will miss him. We can all find some comfort in knowing that in heaven there is no more pain, suffering or sorrow because to absent from this body is to be in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We worked in different buildings at Harris,he was at JRP and I at CIC,but we talked on the phone and exchanged emails a lot mostly on topics pertaining to my technical job.I always got thoughtful and knowledgeable responses to my questions.
He was a customer for glasses and my wife helped him out and Rick told me how much he appreciated her help. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family,he will be missed.

As a co-worker at Harris, I'd known Rick for years. We weren't very close as we didn't work in the same area, but he was invariably nice and helpful when I did talk with him. He obviously had a lot of good things going on in his life, and I know you will miss him greatly. So will I and the rest of us at Harris who knew him.
