Robert Gauldin Obituary
Born Jan. 31, 1949, in Roanoke Rapids, N.C., he was a son of Lucille Wright Lynch of Lawrenceville, and the late Robert E. Gauldin Sr. He had worked for B&W for 37 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Mickey Gauldin and wife, Keri, of Marion, Ill., Charlie Gauldin and wife, Laura, of Lynchburg; a grandmother, Alma Wright of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; two sisters, Judy Jones and husband, Kemp, of Hampton, Brenda Harlow and husband, David, of Virginia Beach; a brother, Jerry Gauldin of South Hill; and three grandchildren, Meredith Anne Gauldin, Meghan Elizabeth Gauldin and Reece Matthew Gauldin.
A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Service by Dr. J. Monty Fox. The family will receive friends an hour before the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of the Hills.

Beth,
I can't imagine your sorrow. I wanted you to know we were thinking of you. When Charles called, my mind went to Stephanie's wedding in Richmond and what fun Robert was having laughing and dancing.
