Roger Moore

Roger Lee Moore, 64, of James River Road, Gladstone, died on Monday, November 22, 2021, at the residence of his son.

Born in Lynchburg, on June 7, 1957, he was a son of the late Martha Jennings and Marvin Watts Moore Jr. Roger was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a cemetery trustee for Rebecca Cemetery and worked as a groundskeeper at Falling River Country Club.

He is survived by his son, Brian S. Moore and wife, Rachel, of Gladstone; two brothers, T. Randy Moore and wife, Dawn, and Tony L. Moore, both of Gladstone; one sister, Ida M. Burks and husband, Sam, of Amherst; four grandchildren, Daniel Moore, Austin Moore, Ethan Moore, and Kayleigh Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, November 26, 2021, at Rebecca Cemetery with the Rev. John Flood officiating.
