Ronald Lewis Hooper

January 27, 1948 - December 1, 2021

Ronald Lewis Hooper, 73, of Lynchburg, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Bettie Krantz Hooper.

Ronald loved flying and spending extra time at New London Airport. After his retirement he enjoyed doing missionary trips to Africa and Haiti.

Surviving are his children, Seth Andrew Hooper; Chad Burnette Hooper and wife, Nichole and their daughter, Hannah; Lindsey Wilson & husband, Jeff and their daughters, Addison Kidd and Kinsley Wilson; brothers, Randy Hooper and wife, Janet; Larry Hooper and wife, Pat; sister, Carol Brooks and husband, Chuck; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Rivermont Presbyterian Church. Arrangements by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
