March 10, 1950 - May 12, 2021
Mr. Stephen Wayne Gosnell, age 71, of Red House, passed away on May 12, 2021, at his residence. He was the son of the late Mr. Richard Frank Gosnell and Mrs. Margaret Ellen Tillotson Gosnell.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Sue Gosnell of Red House; his daughter, Stephine Finney of Mobile, Ala.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church Pavilion in Red House, with the Rev. Duane Sheppard Jr. and the Rev. Anthony Reeves presiding. Public viewing will begin on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, from 12 until 7 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel in Brookneal. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.

He was like a father to me. I had the pleasure to know him & his wife since 2012 when I moved to Virginia. He loved to joke with any one. I honestly fell apart when he died. Condolences to the family. He will be missed for sure.
