Thomas Edward Robertson

April 17, 1944 - May 18, 2025

Thomas Edward "Tommy" Robertson, 81, died on May 18, 2025, in Farmville, Virginia. He was born on April 17, 1944, in Lynchburg, Virginia. Tommy was the son of the late Dennis Eural Robertson and Mary Loving Robertson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Farrar.

Tommy is survived by his daughter, Melissa Robertson LaPradd (Michael); grandchildren, Jacob Andrews and Holly Andrews; former wife and companion, Patty Langford Gormus; brother, Dennis Robertson; sister, Nancy Leftwich; cousin, Richard "Dick" Gatewood; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tommy proudly served his country in the United States Army following high school. Later, he worked as a long-distance truck driver for fifty years where he met lifelong friends as he traveled across the country.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Browning-Duffer Funeral Home, 110 H Street, Keysville, Virginia 23947.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to a charity of your choice. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
