Veronica Greene

Veronica Greene, of Lynchburg passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her residence.

She was born on January 3, 1940 to the late Edgar Cunningham and Marion Wilson Cunningham.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Violet Granger; sisters, Linda Wilson, Diane Mosley and Sarah Jean Trent; one brother, David Lee Ross.

Those left to cherish her memories are her devoted husband, Victor Greene; devoted son, Kevin Greene; sister-in-law, Jacqueline Ross; brother-in-law, Lloyd Trent and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at New Dearington Baptist Church with Pastor Dixon, Officiating. The interment will be in the Baptist Cemetery. Family and friends may view from 1 until 6 p.m. on Friday at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. Condolences may be sent to www.Davis-Turner.com. My sincerest condolences to the family. I will miss seeing Mrs Greene smiling and waving from the front porch as I drove by all the time. She is in a better place now though. God Bless.
