I first met Bill through a business transaction with J. E. Jamerson. We interviewed several potential contractors and eventually selected JEJ. While there were many complex factors to consider in the selection process, the one thing that stands out in my mind is Bill himself. He was confident, unassuming, forthright, personable, and had a great track record as a successful contractor. In the years that followed, I would often run into Bill at the YMCA or a Hokies football game. We would often engage in small talk, discussing football, family and friends. I consider myself lucky to have known Bill. He was a man of great character and will be sorely missed. May God rest his soul and bring love and peace to his family and friends during this difficult time.
