Alice Margaret Dennis

DENNIS - Alice Margaret, of Bay Shore, New York on May 16th. Loving mother to Michael J. Dennis. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Maureen Haag (late Dr. Ray Haag), Barbara Drowne (Stephen Drowne, Sr.), Vincent Dennis (Gillian Amos) and William Dennis (Catherine Dennis). Beloved aunt and great-aunt to nieces and nephews of the Dennis, Drowne, Eldh, Haag, and Kramer families. Retired as a Major in the United States Army Reserves after serving honorably for 27 years. Earned degrees from Mount Aloysius Junior College and Hunter College. Earned graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Women's University. Retired as an Occupational Therapist after an almost 40-year career at Nassau County BOCES and additional service at United Cerebral Palsy. Devout Roman Catholic whose faith defined her life. Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial, Saturday 9:00 AM, St. Patrick's R.C. Church, Bay Shore, New York. Interment to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Bay Shore, New York.
