Anthony Ricci

1961 - 2021

Ricci - Anthony, on December 8, 2021 he was severely injured in a car accident and subsequently died from injuries on December 9 at 1:58 AM. He was happy and died without pain. He was born in Brooklyn January 17, 1961, raised in Islip, settled his family in East Moriches. College educated, graduated second in his class from American Institute of Baking, Manhattan, Kansas; devoted husband of Frances, father of Anthony, son of Theresa, sibling to Rose Ann and Joseph; passionate family man of many; Godfather to Patrick McAniff and Stephen Ricci; loved his dog Ginger; lifelong career Entenmann's Bakery, retired as Sr. Manager of Baking Technology. Passionate to deliver cake adhering to the original standards of the Entenmann's Family. Numerous lifelong friendships developed through his work, and they were his second family. Naturally gifted piano player, infectious laugh, enormous smile and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by many. Visiting hours Tuesday, December 14 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm at the Overton Funeral Home, 172 Main St. Islip, NY 11751. Funeral Mass Wednesday, December 15 10:45am at St. John the Evangelist RC Church in Center Moriches. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Center Moriches.
