To my sweetest Dad,
I want to say thank you and that I loved you for so many things and I hope that you knew how I felt. I could not possibly mention them all here but they will be with me for the rest of my life. I want to thank for your staunch democratic values, for being there for me, for teaching me compassion like picking up people walking on the side of the road in the pouring rain, for being so funny and telling us all of the old jokes (“you call that cake, now that’s a piece of cake”), for taking me out for dinner in diners where that cake was, for being brave about things and helping me not to be afraid, for appreciating family, for loving life (“live it up”), for listening to my Joan Armatrading albums over and over in the 70’s, for the fun and memories of Red Robin, for loving your new Pin Head- your granddaughter Sarah- so much, and most of all for just being you.
With all of my love to a great guy and a great Dad. I miss you so much.
Forever yours,
Lyn

Thanks for all the good times and especially for fathering our wonderful two daughters. I know you were as proud of them as I and they loved you so very much. Sorry you had to leave them and your beautiful granddaughter Sarah so soon. Here's to our next life!!!

I did not spend enough time with you, but when we did it reinforced that you were a kind and gentle and humorous man. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Barry and I were friends as teenagers in Brooklyn, although after his move to Sunbury our meetings were much more sporadic. As I think of him -- some fifty-five years later -- I remember a gentle, generous and sweet human always armed with a ready smile. I now reflect that for a teenager, those were rather unique characteristics.

I am saddened by his passing and wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to his entire family.

My deepest condolences to the entire family. Barry was a childhood friend of mine and we shared many good and fun times together. From Winthrop Jr. High to High school to Mt. Kisko weekends with the girls we were always laughing and sharing good times. He will always be remembered by all that knew him. May he rest in peace. Donald Levenson

Barry was the sweetest guy. We worked together at ERA Gatewood and played tennis together. He was great on the court and off. Everyone at Gatewood loved him. I am so sorry for your loss. Barry will be missed.
