PROIA-Carl J., Sr., on November 5, 2004. Beloved husband of the late Betty. Loving father of Carl, Jr., Frances, and Lenore. Loving brother of Vito, Harry, Susan, and the late Andrew and Frank. Cherished by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Reposing at the Michael J. Grant Funeral Homes, Inc., 571 Suffolk Ave., Brentwood, NY 11717. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Wednesday, 10 AM, at St. Luke's R.C. Church, Brentwood. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery. Family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to the U.S. Naval Academy Scholarship Fund, Annapolis, MD, or the American Cancer Society, in his name. Family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday between 2-4 PM and 7-9:30 PM.

Carl, I'm sorry to hear about your father's passing. I only heard about it today. I would have liked to attend the wake to express to you personally my condolences. I had him in North Junior High School 30 years ago, and found him to be very nice.
