Carolyn Young HATCH

HATCH - Carolyn Young, 95, of Manchester, NH died peacefully after a brief illness. She was born Oct. 14, 1917 in Huntington, NY. She was the daughter of William Glover Young and Carrie (Conklin) Young. She graduated from Huntington High Schooland Packard Business School. She was a devout Christian and alifelong member of Central Presbyterian Church. She waspredeceased by her husband, Benjamin R. Hatch. Family members include her children: Joyce H. Milone of North Haven, CT, Roger Hatch and his wife Esther of NYC, and Barbara Hebert of Bedford, NH; grandchildren: Heather Milone of Manhattan, NY, Patrick Hebert of Manhattan, NY, Jarrod Hebert, his wife Katie; and great-grandson, Wyatt Hebert of E. Northport, NY; Hayden and Sterling Hatch of NYC and numerous nieces and nephews. In her life, she was a member of the women's auxiliary with The Halesite Fire Dept., The Harbor Boating Club, The Women's ChristianCouncil and coordinator of the church prayer chain. She enjoyed many years skiing, sailing and traveling with her husband. Services: A memorial service will be held at Central Presbyterian Church, 240 Main St., Huntington, NY on Saturday, August 10th at 2:00pm.
