Our sincerest condolences on the passing of Charles. We recognize and honor his service as a Waist Gunner on a B-24 Liberator flying with the 489th Bomb Group, 845th Bomb Squadron based in Halesworth, Suffolk during WWII. We are honored to keep his memory alive through the restoration and display of our B-24 Liberator over the coming years to honor the memories of all veterans of the Greatest Generation who fought so valiantly over the skies of Europe during World War II. We will never forget you.
