Charles Schweit

SCHWEIT - Charles, of Copiague, NY passed away on November 5, 2025. Charles was a deeply spiritual man whose faith and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew him. He was devoted to his family and will be remembered for his kindness, warmth, and thoughtful nature. Charles was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sandra. He is survived by his brothers, Daniel, Ronald, Dennis and Jack; his sisters, Patricia, Elizabeth, Denise; and his sister-in-law, Deborah. The family will receive friends Sunday, 2-4:30 and 7-9:30pm at the Powell Funeral Home, Inc., 67 Broadway (Rt. 110), Amityville. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:30pm. Funeral services will be Monday, 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park, E. Farmingdale. The family has suggested memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. www.powellfh.com
