As a former student of Professor Landers, I was shocked and sorry to hear of her passing. I will never forget the pearls of wisdom Professor Landers dropped in her "Intro to Paralegal" class at LaGuardia Community College. She valued everyone, regardless of social status or wealth. Definitely a classy lady.

I was a former student of Professor Landers and I'm deeply saddened by her loss. She touched my life with her kindness and generosity, and was able to read me like no one else could. I came across old emails we exchanged of me expressing my gratitude for her teachings and wealth of knowledge she shared with all of her students. I'm so grateful and honored to have known her and gotten the opportunity to tell her how much I admired and respected her. My condolences to her family and friends, she will always be remembered in light. God bless you, Prof. Landers :'(

Today I just searched Professor Colette Landers on google as she was my former professor and I wanted to get in touch with her. My plan was to visit her as she inspired me to go to law school. I am very heart broken and distraught to know that she is no longer alive on earth. She was the kindest woman and professor I have ever met. My condolences to her family and loved ones. I'm sorry I never go to see you after I got accepted into law school, Professor Landers.
